Abstract

The outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic has significantly reshaped learning practices. This study investigates the effect of embedding technology into tax education, particularly on students’ tax awareness and tax knowledge. Using an experimental research design, 160 students were randomly assigned to control and experimental groups employing different teaching approaches. Findings show that integrating YouTube videos as a complementary teaching tool significantly improved students’ tax awareness and enhanced tax knowledge compared with conventional teaching methods. Overall, the study highlights the positive impact of technology-enhanced learning on future taxpayers’ awareness and understanding of taxation.
