Abstract

Entrepreneurship has become a key agenda in Malaysia's economic development and higher education. This study investigates the effectiveness of the "Beyond BPME1013" follow-up entrepreneurship programme in nurturing university students to become graduate entrepreneurs. Using a mixed-method action research design involving 20 Universiti Utara Malaysia students, the study employed pre- and post-questionnaires together with in-depth interviews. Findings indicate that the programme successfully enhanced students' entrepreneurial knowledge, skills, confidence, and intention to start businesses through hands-on learning and continuous mentoring. The study recommends expanding similar follow-up entrepreneurship programmes across higher education institutions to strengthen graduate entrepreneurship and support national economic development.
