Abstract

This study examines the need to develop a Nabawi (Prophetic) psychotherapy model as a complementary treatment for teenage depression based on the Qur'an and Hadith. Using a qualitative approach through semi-structured interviews with three experts in Islamic psychospirituality, the study identifies key elements that should be incorporated into the model. The findings indicate that Nabawi psychotherapy has strong potential as a holistic intervention by integrating biological, psychological, social, and spiritual dimensions. The study concludes that incorporating Prophetic methods into psychotherapy can provide a more comprehensive, value-based treatment framework that better addresses the mental health needs of contemporary Muslim communities.
