Abstract
This study investigates the factors influencing corporate social innovation (CSI) in Malaysian SMEs using student perceptions. Employing Rasch model analysis, the study validates a measurement instrument covering four constructs: organisational learning, ethical leadership, government support, and corporate governance. Data from 25 student respondents demonstrated strong person reliability (0.89), acceptable item reliability (0.71), good model fit, and acceptable unidimensionality (71.3%). One item (F2) was identified as misfitting and requires revision. The findings support the validity of the instrument while recommending improvements to enhance future applications.
