Abstract

This paper presents a critical literature review of technological advancements in agro-food entrepreneurial businesses using bibliometric analysis of Scopus publications (2010–2024). It analyses publication trends, countries, authors, keyword co-occurrence, and citation networks using VOSviewer. The study identifies major research themes including technology adoption, innovation, supply chain management, food safety, sustainability, blockchain, IoT, and AI in smart farming. It also proposes future research directions, especially on blockchain applications, smart farming technologies, and technology adoption among small-scale agro-food entrepreneurs in developing countries.
