Abstract

The study investigates factors influencing Malaysian muzakkis' (zakat payers') intention to adopt online zakat payment services. It integrates Technology Readiness (TR), the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM), and prior exposure to zakat digitalization. Data were collected from 230 Malaysian muzakkis and analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). The results show that innovativeness, perceived usefulness, and prior exposure to digital zakat services significantly and positively influence adoption intention, while optimism and perceived ease of use are not significant factors.
