Abstract
In recent years, the global business landscape has growth and undergoing a transformation driven by rapid evolvement in technology. This growing global business landscape has evolved how businesses operate and communicate to deliver the products and services to their customers more effectively. The broad use of advanced technology has made businesses become more exposed to the internal and external risks. Internal and external risk such as operational risk, financial risk, strategic risk, and political risk can impact organization sustainability and performance. Development of a centralized platform for risk management system to fulfil the requirement needs in manage business efficiently. This system helps UKM Holdings to manage risk across all the subsidiaries to ensure all the risk can been avoided and been handled effectively. This project which is Risk Management System is a web-based system developed to helps UKM Holdings to manage risk efficiently. This project been developed to reduce manual works in risk management process, to enable consistent and real-time risk data sharing across all subsidiaries and to provide real-time dashboards and reports. Agile methodology been selected in the project development that supported by data collection through interviews, literature review and questionnaire to understand the user requirement to fulfil the system needs. The project had been undergoing the robust development to design the design interfaces and system features. The system providing the dashboard and report generation features and also others automation features to do the risk assessment. The system implementing Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) to ensure all the user will use the system according to their roles and permissions. Risk Management System successfully solve the problems that faced by UKM Holdings in doing risk management after undergoing feedback analysis from the users. This system has reduced manual works in doing risk management process such as risk registration, risk assessment, risk treatments, risk monitoring and also risk reporting with automation features that have been applied in this system which is automation in calculating risk level, automation in doing reports and dashboards. This system also enables consistent and real-time risk data sharing by implementation of the centralized Risk Management System to helps UKM Holdings in storing, updating and adding all the risk-related data across all subsidiaries. The system also successfully providing dashboard and automated reports with implementation of the system which is system have a real-time dashboard according subsidiary and report generation to PDF. This project has helped the UKM Holdings in solving their problems in doing risk management and system will have future enhancement in future development to improve this system.
