Abstract

Learners often struggle to master English pronunciation, particularly silent letters, due to limited exposure to engaging learning materials. This study introduces an interactive digital flipbook that integrates visual aids, audio pronunciation, Wordwall-based gamification, and a collaborative sharing community to support pronunciation learning. The innovation was tested among TESL undergraduate students at Universiti Poly-Tech Malaysia. Qualitative feedback indicated improved learner engagement, pronunciation awareness, confidence, and independent learning. The findings suggest that the multimodal flipbook effectively supports silent-letter learning and has strong potential for implementation and commercialisation in ESL contexts, including schools, language centres, and higher education institutions.
